(a) Voter Qualifications. Voter qualifications are generally outlined in the historic Indian Reorganization Act Constitution of the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island as: “All members of the community nineteen (19) years of age or over shall have the right to vote in community meetings and elections, except that elections on the adoption or amendment of the community constitution and charter are limited by law to members twenty-one (21) years of age and over.” Enrolled tribal members, nineteen (19) years or older and who do not reside in St. Paul, may exercise their right to vote if they are physically present for an election in St. Paul.

(b) List of Qualified Voters. The St. Paul Island Tribal Council shall maintain a list of qualified voters, which shall be given to the Election Committee prior to elections. The list shall be made in two categories: those who reside in St. Paul and those who do not reside in St. Paul. [Certificate of Adoption passed April 22nd, 2008; 2008 Code § 1.7.3]
