The St. Paul Island Tribal Court of Appeals shall consist of three Judges appointed by the Senior Judge of the St. Paul Island Tribal Court to hear the case or cases being appealed. Any Judge of the St. Paul Island Tribal Court, except the Judge from whose decision the appeal is taken, and any duly elected or appointed tribal judge from any federally recognized Indian tribe shall be eligible for appointment to the St. Paul Island Tribal Court of Appeals. The Senior Judge of the Tribal Court shall designate one Judge, designated the Presiding Judge, to preside over proceedings of the Court of Appeals. [2008 Code § 2.4.1; Res. 1999-17]
