(a) The Court may issue an order to show cause requiring a party to appear before the Court and explain why they should not be held in contempt of court and subject to sanctions in accordance with Chapter 2.40 ATC.

(b) An order to show cause may only be issued by the Court upon a showing that the person to whom the order is directed has violated a valid existing order of the Court and the person had notice of the valid existing order. [Res. 2012-24; 2008 Code § 2.5.14]
