“Civil infraction” means violations of any provision of the Code of Civil Offenses or violations of unwritten customary laws of the Tribe.

“Notice of Civil Infraction” means the notice given to an offender by either a Tribal Enforcement Officer or the Tribal Court. The notice may also be titled “Citation” or “Complaint” or “Notice to Appear in Tribal Court.”

“Tribal Enforcement Officer” means the designated persons sworn in by a Tribal Court Judge to enforce the laws, regulations, and ordinances of the Tribe. [Res. 2012-27; 2008 Code § 3.2.3]
