7.10.130 Enforcement.

(a) The Tribal Enforcement Officers shall be charged with enforcement of this chapter.
(b) All tribal members that are witnesses to a violation of this chapter should report any violation or violations of this chapter or traditional harvest ethics to a Tribal Enforcement Officer.
(c) Abandonment of Illegally Harvested Fur Seal.
(1) Tribal Enforcement Officers may request a wrongdoer abandon or forfeit, whenever and wherever lawfully found, all fur seal taken or retained in violation of this chapter.
(2) Any fur seal so abandoned or forfeited to Tribal Enforcement Officer shall be immediately given away to Elders for consumption. [Res. 2009-39; 2008 Code § 7.2.13]
