(a) A corporation must at all times have a registered agent. The corporation must assign a new agent before the resignation of the existing agent. A registered agent for service of process on a corporation may resign by delivering to the OJA Director for filing a record of the statement of resignation.

(b) After filing a statement of resignation, the OJA Director shall mail a copy to the new registered agent.

(c) An agency is terminated on the thirty-first day after the statement is filed in the office of the OJA Director. [Res. 2011-32; 2008 Code § 9.3.1.12]
