Pursuant to an order issued May 10, 1971, by the Assistant Secretary of the Interior, the attached amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws of the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island were as a unit submitted for ratification to the membership of the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island and were on June 4, 1971, ratified by a vote of sixty-four (64) for and one against, in an election in which over thirty (30) percent of those entitled to vote cast their ballots in accordance with the Alaska Act of May 1, 1936 (49 Stat. 1250), and Section 15 of the Act of June 18, 1934 (48 Stat. 984), as amended by the Act of June 15, 1935 (49 Stat. 378).
