Any officer or agent elected or appointed may be removed by the persons authorized to elect or appoint such officer or agent whenever, in their judgment, the best interest of the corporation will be served by such removal. Removal shall be without prejudice to the contract right, if any, of the person so removed. Election or appointment of an officer or agent shall not in itself create contract rights.
