4.15.30 Truancy.

A minor commits the violation of truancy by failing to obey school attendance provisions as follows:
(a) All school age minors, age seventeen (17) or less, shall attend school or an approved basic education program.
(b) Every school age minor shall attend all scheduled class sessions at the school at which the child is enrolled unless the minor has an excused absence. [Res. 2012-43; 2008 Code § 4.3.3]
