The purpose of this chapter is to establish a uniform procedure for how tribal ordinances are proposed, adopted, amended, and repealed. It is the intent of the St. Paul Island Tribe that tribal ordinances do not conflict with our traditional values and/or shall interpret and clarify the Constitution to meet the current needs and values of the St. Paul Island Tribe.
