The provisions of this title allow for the consideration of the individual needs of juveniles and their families in an effort to assist juvenile offenders with establishing a connection to the community, the Aleut culture, and family members. Consistent with Unangan values and principles, the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island recognizes that the need for Court consideration of the mental development of minors does not end at the age of eighteen (18). The Tribal Court, at its own discretion or upon motion, may apply any provision of this title to young persons, age eighteen (18) to twenty-five (25) years old, brought before the Court for violations of ATC Title 3.
