(a) Disposal or abandonment of hazardous materials at any place not approved as a collection site is prohibited.

(b) Hazardous materials must be disposed of at approved collection or staging sites in accordance with federal, state, municipal, and/or tribal guidelines and/or regulations/ordinances.

(c) Any person who disposes of or abandons hazardous materials in an unapproved manner will be responsible for clean-up and/or the cost of clean-up. [Res. 2010-27; 2008 Code § 7.4.6]
